MrL has add to add in a bit of wood on the back to fit the top hinge.<BR/>The one we have for the sitting room is only 2cm thick, and may be the same as the ones you have; it's fine so far, we trimmed it and waxed it, but it's certainly not as substantial as our new ones. We've found one major problem with them: the timber was kiln dried and not properly seasoned.
