Drying rose petals
Drying rose petals on the Rayburn; it's on 24 hours a day, so costs nothing to do so. The rack was acquired at the tip for a few pence a long time ago now, and has done sterling duty for my drying exploits.
I dry every petal I find also things like hydrangea heads and put them into the cellophane bags my son-out-of-law gets his laundered shirts in. Tend to put similar colours together and use them as confetti. Daughters of an age where friends are marrying. Have considered selling them but not organised enough.
