Maybe not a structured garden, if you know what I mean, but certainly could grow things there. Sheltanders grew/grow their veg crops in plantie crubs - wee enclosures of stone walls, to keep the sheep an[-out and afford some protection form the wind and weather. Main crops were tatties and kale really. Sheltand Black tatties and Shetland kale - I have both here at the moment. My Scots Dumpies and Shetland ducks would fit right in, and I could get a Shetland coo! x
