Bath.................

Big difference between *having* and *going* for a bath! *Having* a bath to me is the quickie, with the sole purpose of getting clean, in and out in a short space of time and on to the next thing, usually late at night, after a hard day in the garden or similar. However, *going* for a bath implies "I may be some time......", and usually involves one, some or possibly all, of the following - something to read, glass of wine/whisky, bubbles, fresh herbs, music, candles........... Ultimate decadence is a hot bath on a rainy May afternoon - so hot that you need to open the window wide to let the steam out, then being able to hear the drumming of the rain on roof and leaf, the birds singing and the general hubbub of the house below you, as you take your time and drink in the peace and calm.
Definitely one of my favourite "me" times :)

I love baths, I save them for when I have the time to enjoy one

Sound lovely, we rarely have baths as we collect all our water from the roof, we do have 2 very big water atnks but after losing a whole tank of water from a leaky pipe before the onset of a 15 week drought I won't let anyone have baths! lol.Baths are only allowed in the winter and when both tanks are overflowing. We don't miss out though as we do have a spa so can do the glass if wine in there for sure! Adding bubbles would make it interesting. Enjoy :D

I am a great believer in the theraputic power of a long bath...preferably with an interesting book!

...don't feel guilty either as I often just have a quick "shower" under the bath shower head and save a proper bath for when I have time to enjoy it.

Oh I do so agree with you. I couldn't be without my bubbles. Hubs wanted to get rid of our bath when we were renovating and just have a shower room... That almost ended in divorce Lol..
