Pink elderflower wine

I have a cultivated black elder in the front garden here, and it has pink flowers in early summer - very, very pretty. Also rather lovely is the colour of the wine it produces, tasting just like the white elderflower, but just look at the stunning rose colour of this:

Wow its a wonderful colour, i love your wine recipes . They are so simple and reliable too. after trying many kit wines which we didn't like much i make all my wines your way now! I cut the sugar down a little though as hubby likes it drier.

That's amazing! So envious, I haven't had the energy for wine this year. I'm thinking of doing some loganberry liqueur for the holidays however, just need the spirits.

Hi, I am a bit confused as picked elderflowers at my grans and the flowers were creamy colour but the stalks were pink. But the syrup is pink like rubharb pink now I'm concerned that it is not elderflower eeeekk any suggestions?
