Pottering on a Thursday morning...............

Some days are just meant to be pottered with, and I quite often seem to achieve more than if I start out with the intention of Getting Things Done!  I've sorted the laundry, got the elderberry wine into a demi-john where it's burbling away happily, made pancakes, re-wrapped the blue cheese, finished off a scarf and am sewing the ends in, and have made chilli and rice for supper. I'm off out to do a short stint in the shop later to help them out, so supper will be ready just to pop into the oven when I get back. I also had the first of the ripe and lovely Devonshire Quarrenden apples from the garden
