More frost this morning, the thermometer down to -4; more defrosting of drinkers in the kitchen sink! Even the water butt the washing machine empties into had a layer of ice on it. Gorgeous ferny patterns, nature makes a lovely job of keeping us interested, doesn't she?

Don't you just love the patterns frost makes -I've tried, but have never been successful at capturing it's beauty -well done!
Wait until it gets down to -10C, as we've had a couple of times. The farmer who collected some pigs from us today had been working as a beater for a shoot on Boxing Day, when it was -10C with a bit of a breeze. Brrrr!

We had -8 this morning - and sheep water buckets frozen all the way through. I better go and check them again now as it still only -1 now.
