Little film for a wet Sunday

Bit of nostalgia for a time I never had, I  suppose, but a wonderful piece of footage. Share and enjoy it :)

But don't be deceived by the balmy nature of the weather - days quite like that are few and far bewteen :-)

Great piece of film - Thank you. There are still some elements of that life around, not very much though. peat cutting still goes on - although it is brought back by tractor and trailer now. Hay stacks can still be seen - and people on Uist still plant corn. There are a few sgothan in Stornoway harbour sometimes. Our neighbour is a home weaver.
The scenery and beaches are still as beautiful though. I posted some pictures today, in fact.
